Description
The soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the praetorium (which is just a fancy word for “governor’s house”) and they gathered the whole battalion before him. They stripped him, put a purple cloak on him, put a crown of thorns on his head, a reed in his right hand and they knelt before him to mock him saying “Hail, King of the Jews!” And then they spat on him and took the reed and hit him on the head with it. The head that already had large thorns stabbing into it.
When they were done mocking him, they put him back in his clothes and led him off to be crucified.
This is a 2.5 X 3.5ish inch icon print mounted on wood with with a D-ring hanger in the back.
